Thank You!

My heart-felt thanks to Ryan and Sarah for letting me come out and be their house guest this summer.

Thank you for giving me a room to sleep in.

Thank you for helping me get my first job and praying for guidance as I was jumping all the hurdles so that I could start.

Thank you for all the hiking I was able to do. (And for the use of shoes and hiking boots, Sarah!)

Thank you for letting me get my first experience of camping. (And taking me along on your vacation to Crater Lake.)

Thank you for letting me be able to meet so many good friends.

But most of all, thank you for letting me be able to spend time with you!

I Sing the Mighty Power of God

God made the earth by His power. ~ Jeremiah 10:12-13

***
I Sing the Mighty Power of God
Isaac Watts
I sing the mighty power of God, that made the mountains rise,
That spread the flowing seas abroad, and built the lofty skies.
I sing the wisdom that ordained the sun to rule the day;
The moon shines full at God’s command, and all the stars obey.

I sing the goodness of the Lord, who filled the earth with food,
Who formed the creatures through the Word, and then pronounced them good.
Lord, how Thy wonders are displayed, where’er I turn my eye,
If I survey the ground I tread, or gaze upon the sky.

There’s not a plant or flower below, but makes Thy glories known,
And clouds arise, and tempests blow, by order from Thy throne;
While all that borrows life from Thee is ever in Thy care;
And everywhere that we can be, Thou, God art present there.
