Photo-a-day Challenge: Day 27 - Something You Ate

Because of some health issues, I'm on a fat free diet right now. Lunch today was mashed potatoes, cherry tomatoes, and a slice of mango.

We haven't had too much sun here today. It's been gray-ish and a few snowflakes have fallen. I did manage to catch a bit of light shining on my tulip a little while ago, though.

My tray has taken on a green feel today with a fresh green napkin, my can of ginger ale, my name written in green marker on my cup, a happy tulip, and the green in my get well card. 

Photo-a-day Challenge: Day 24 - Your Bedside Table

This challenge has taken a different turn than I expected with getting sick. This is my "sick" bedside table. On it can be found: my get well card, the tv and wii remotes, a can of ginger ale and a cup with a straw, my book (The Book Thief), my cell phone, and a friendly rose (which is just out of the picture).

These shoes are the ones I wore to my visits to the ER and the doctor this week because they are easy to slip on and off. I will be very glad when it's warm enough to wear flip-flops!

This week I've been watching a lot of Netflix which we stream through our wii. We've been using our blue wii remote since it has fresh batteries.

The only handwriting I've seen today are the signatures on my get well card from my brother-in-law, sister, nieces and nephews.

We went to lunch at my grandmother's house today. I chose mango iced tea to drink.

This little guy makes me smile... along with this brothers and sisters. I would say he is so cute but he is highly offended by that word so I'll say he's cool (an accepted word) instead. :)
