Light

Week two of the Photographer's Collaboration.

This week Mary Ann at Shutter Happy is hosting. The theme is light.

Mary Ann asked that we take three pictures of the same thing and take note of  the light in each one.

My bedroom window at nine o'clock in the morning...

At four o'clock in the afternoon, sun comes streaming in from this west-facing window. (Making a kitty content with a rather large sun-patch on the floor.)

Ten o'clock comes and the light is coming from the other side of the window. Artificial light makes picture seem so much more harsh, don't you think?

Ooh, this is so perfect, Kati! I love looking at the difference between the soft morning light and the harsh artificial light, but my favorite is the one in the middle - everything is so golden and glowy! And it was really smart to pick a window as your subject. Thanks so much for linking up! :)

I love these, Kati! All different...yet all pretty in their own way. You have a lovely window to peer out at the world... :-)

What a cool idea! I agree; artificial light is a bit harsher. I much prefer natural lighting; it makes everything look better. :) Great photos - good luck in the challenge!
