O, Gracious! I would be horrified if one of these touched me, wouldn't you?!!! But the details are amazing to see. I would never look at one this closely in "real life". I would be too busy running away. Or if it was in my house, I would be busy looking for spray.
I agree with Frances...fun to be able to see him up close in your photo. In real life...not so much, especially now that you have researched his kind and know the gory details! I believe I once read that the wheel bug is the assasin of the insect world.
