Pinky

Pinky thinks she's the queen of the house. She is a feisty kitty and has been known to be bad (quite often!), but we love her anyway. She likes the heat and hates the cold. She loves plain chicken and spicy taco meat.

At night, she likes to sleep with someone. If she chooses me, she likes to be right up against me and get under the covers so that only her head is sticking out...just like a person.

Pinky has many names. Pinky Susan is her full name but she has been called Pinky Sue, Pink, Susanne, Bubby, Bubs, Poi, etc.

One of her favorite spots is in my window seat soaking up the sun patches. She has a really low meow which we hear often since she uses it when she isn't happy with us. (It can be hard to please her sometimes.) She loves mornings...she purrs and rubs and does somersaults.

When she needs to go out to use the bathroom, she walks across the piano. She plays the same notes. When the little ones are over and they "play" the piano, too, you can always tell the difference between their playing and Pinky's since she steps on the same keys every single time.

Tomorrow is Pinky's "birthday"...the day she showed up at our door and found her way into our hearts and home.

I know some cat lovers that enjoy a set of these note cards! Pinky is a lucky little kitty cat, for sure. She gets to hang in that great window seat ;-) xo

Pinky is a very talented kitty! Her piano playing reminds me of one of my kitties who "played" and always ended on a resolved note. It cracked us up. She was a black kitty who loved being under the covers, too. I can tell that Pinky Sue is well loved. You wrote her story very nicely!

Love our girl! And she would make some pretty note cards, I think!

You have some good captures of Pinky. :)

Pinky is very photogenic. I especially like the photo of her behind the curtain. It hints of mystery.

What cat or dog does not think they rule the house? Pinky has proved a very good and willing subject for your notecards.

Gavin is reading the Bad Kitty series of chapter books. Since Bad Kitty is a black female cat, we've been reminded of both Pinky and Kitt when he shares the mischievous things Kitty does. :-)

I love the picture of Pinky behing the curtain! I imagine that she is sunning herself or watching birds twittering about the yard. Thank you for mentioning my pillow giveaway!
