Today we welcome our second guest poster, Brooke...
Hello readers of Kati's Little Corner! My name is Brooke and I blog over at The Little Delights In Life. I love cake decorating and I have so many video tutorials that can help you learn how to decorate! Stop by and become a follower :)
I am so excited to guest post today! This recipe is from a book called Cake Balls by Dede Wilson. The recipe is called Toffee-Brown Butter-Pecan. It has a great butter flavor that is incorporated throughout the whole recipe and also compliments the pecans. This is a very rich flavor! I also show you how to dip the cake balls into the white chocolate and then to decorate them beautifully :)
Here are the exact measurements:
Pecan Toffee:
-4 tablespoons unsalted butter
-1/2 cup sugar
-Pinch of salt
-3/4 cup toasted pecan halves
Frosting:
-6 tablespoons unsalted butter (room temperature)
-3 cups confectioners' sugar
-2 tablespoons whole milk
-1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
